# Mission: Professional Full Stack Web Development

## Why
Altamash wants to go from "tutorials that don't stick" to a working professional who can get hired at companies, take freelance clients, and eventually build his own SaaS products. The concrete change: within 3 months, he should be able to independently architect, build, and deploy a full-stack web application — and have the portfolio to prove it.

## Success looks like
- Build and deploy a complete full-stack application (frontend + backend + database + auth) from scratch without following a tutorial
- Have a polished GitHub profile with 3+ real-world projects that demonstrate increasing complexity
- Confidently explain how HTTP, APIs, databases, and authentication work in a technical interview
- Win a first freelance client or receive an interview callback based on portfolio strength
- Read any codebase in the MERN/Next.js ecosystem and understand what it does within 30 minutes

## Constraints
- Timeline: 3 months (aggressive, daily commitment)
- Daily availability: 4-6 hours
- Prior experience: Has done basic tutorials, but nothing retained — needs structured, hands-on practice
- Learning style: Build-first; passive video watching has proven ineffective
- Budget: Free resources preferred; paid tools only when essential
- Stack: HTML → CSS → JavaScript → Git → React → Next.js → Node.js → Express → MongoDB → Deployment

## Out of scope
- Mobile app development (React Native, Flutter)
- DevOps / Infrastructure engineering (Kubernetes, Terraform)
- Data science / Machine learning
- Other backend languages (Python Django, Java Spring, Go)
- Advanced system design (load balancers, microservices at scale) — revisit after foundation is solid
